We bought 2 of these. The first one we had to return because the mobile at the top stopped working even w/ new batteries. The second one was used and retuned b/c the sound had static. And for 54.99 I didn't want to have something that didn't work. Maybe if I could have found one that worked. Before the first one stopped working my baby liked it and she was only 8 weeks old.

Pro's Really nice music, my baby loves the mobile, the petals also move and keep her attention. She has used this from 6 weeks up to now (5mo), I could see her getting at least another 3-4 months out of it. She is entertained for at least 30 minutes at a time, will sometimes fall asleep as well. The construction is very high quality as well.
Con's It doesn't fold up, we took it along on a trip and because of the shape, it took up a good amount of space in our SUV, forget about putting it in a trunk. Also my baby got her arm stuck in one of the larger rings, keep this one
closer to the top, I had it on the bottom.
Overall Fantastic purchase!!!

Our whole family loves this item! This toy allowed my husband and I to have dinner uninterupted almost every night for the first 2 months!! I purchased this for our daughter before she was born and she's 7 months now. It was one of those items that would keep her happy for at least 10 minutes, up to 30 minutes when she was 0 - 8 weeks old and I needed to eat/shower/cry/etc. I love the little song at the beginning, "Hello Baby" and she loves the bee, butterfly and bird. She doesn't use it every day anymore, but even when I put her under it now, she still is amused by it and now loves pulling on the "leaves" and the toys attached to them - still happy for about 30 minutes or so. It's good for a "calming" activity especially before bedtime. Batteries don't seem to be an issue for us, but she even enjoys it when it's not "on."
My DH teased me when I was off work on maternity leave that my brain was turning to mush and I should spend time under this product which he dubbed "the Star Trek Mind Expander."

This gym is GREAT! My eight month old daughter has enjoyed this gym since she was one month. The overhead mirror is wonderful and it provides long-lasting entertainment. The gentle music soothes her instantly. We like to use it as part of our pre-bedtime routine. It is very stable and now she likes to use it to help her stand up. You can fit two or three babies underneath the global mirror and they love to look and interact with each other in it. I highly recommend this gym. It is a bit cumbersome but perfect for a play room.

This item is just OK. I have seen others I would purchase now that I see my daughter play with it. She started at about 3 wks playing with this item. I would recommend a play mat with something that they can kick or items that attach to the mat to capture the babies attention when they are on their belly.

We registered for this play area for our baby who is now 4 months old. It is so great for little kids. We started using it at about 2 weeks old and she loves it. She's grown out of it a bit now that she wants to sit up and look around, but she has loved the mirror and the toy attachments are great even on their own. It does go through batteries like mad, though, so get rechargeable ones.

We love this gym! My son is still, after all these months, fascinated with the spinning petals and the mirror! I replace the toys hanging on the sides to keep his interest new. (Try to stick your head in there, too - you'll see how much fun it is, with all the colors!) The only thing with the hanging toys is, if washed a few times, the paper starts peeling off.
I have hung the panda mat on the wall in front of his crib, and he loves looking at it when falling asleep. So I got 2 uses out of 1 toy!

I bought this playmat for my 3 month old grandson and it has been a lifesaver! I keep him at work for a few hours while my daughter works. He loves laying on his mat and watching and talking to the baby in the mirror and watching the fan. He also loves playing with the toys. I just bought the tiny love kick chimes and he had so much fun with them yesterday. It is also easy to pack up and take home when I know I will have him over the weekend or the mat needs washing. I actually get work done while he is playing!

This a great toy. My daughter is 6 mos. old and loves to pull on the rotating leaves and pull off the toys that are "velcroed" to the leaves! The only drawback is she's a big baby (20 lbs now) and doesn't fit on the mat. We don't even use the mat anymore and just put the mobile on her regular blanket. We still have to angle it so the bases are not touching her head or feet. We probably won't be able to use it much longer since she's rolling around so much and kicking her feet a lot. This was great-- kept her busy for awhile. Too bad it wasn't bigger.

My 2 month old daughter has loved this toy since she was born. She loves to watch the lights and rotating leaves over head while the music is playing. We love the woman's voice that sings-very gentle and soft. My husband dangles the toys over her lips and forehead which makes her giggle. The mat is very durable and washes nicely in the washing machine. A must have for new babies!
